- Meeting dates and venues
The Seventh Global Conference of Parliamentarians Against Corruption will be held on 9-11 Dec 2019 in Doha Qatar at Sheraton Grand Doha Resort and Convention Hotel. The Opening Ceremony of the conference will be held on Monday, 9 December 2019.
The working language and documents of the conference is English. In addition, Arabic, French, and Spanish Simultaneous Interpretations are available. Additional booths will be made Available to interpreters accompanying delegations which need Interpretation in their own languages. Allocation will be First-Come-First served basis.
All Participants are responsible for their own accommodation. The Following hotels are preferred and recommended venues:
Transportation will be provided on arrival and departure at the Hamad International Airport Doha if we have flight details. In addition, shuttle buses will run between the three Hotels to conference venue.
To obtain a Qatari visa, the applicant must duly complete an application and submit it online in advance before November 20, 2019. More than 80 countries do not require visa please check the website: https://www.visitqatar.qa
- Media service
Journalists wishing to cover the conference must register themselves through Qatar Parliament or be registered under their participating delegates or register themselves via online registration https://www.doha7gopac.qa/en/E-Services/Registration-form. There will be two open-ended studios/media room that can be used by television for interview near Salwa Room. Television station who wish to use the studio can register their interest to the GOPAC Secretariat Office near the studio. Allocation will be made by first come first serve basis.
A press conference room and media typing pool is located in Dukha Room and available for journalist during the event. The press conference room is equipped with computers, the internet and monitors to follow the Conference proceeding.

All participants are requested to wear their identification badges throughout the meetings and official functions specified in the program and can collect their ID badges at registration desk in the lobby of Sheraton Hotel. For security purpose, admission to venue of the meetings and official functions will be limited to those wearing ID badges.
Meals and Functions
Lunch will be provided on 9-10 Dec for delegates at venue Sheraton hotel. Delegates wishing to make other meal arrangement will meet the cost themselves.
Clinic and Ambulance services will be available at the venue (Sheraton Hotel). All other medical services will be at the participants’ own expense. Participants are advised to purchase adequate health insurance.
